Though it is a lot of fun to develop and produce beautiful & glamorous fashion images, (which is something that is keeping me currently busy to get together an initial portfolio to enter fashion photography), photography remains a powerful, evocative tool to simply capture and show simple things in the life around us that we easily neglect in our everyday hurries. Things that keep the world ticking. Small drops that seem terribly inconsequential in front of the vast ocean, but without which there would be no ocean at all.
Everyone, from artists to writers, from fashion designers to photographers, are in some way or the other taking care of their need to put bread on the table. And that simple fact is a common factor between all of us. This kid, barely 10 years old, sells roasted corn on the pavement. When asked where he lives, he simply pointed to a small tent under one of the trees next to the pavement. His father is a construction worker.

What a wonderful photo. You have captured a unique moment in his facial expression, so full of character and life.
The very effective composition and POV drives the sight from the FG to the BG, with this boy in the middle, in a perfect street life picture. Best regards.
It’s kind of strange to sit in my comfortable home to watch children work for a living. You have approached this in a very nice way and it makes a beautiful portrait of this child.
