I walk through streets empty of humans but full of life. Fog that doesn’t let you see what lies ahead – making sure that the future is a faded song – rooting you in the here and now entirely. And here and now is this emptiness within oneself. Here and now I wait, but she is nowhere to be seen.

Dwarf Conquerers

From the second base camp for Roopkund. Up ahead (near the lower right of the frame), another group camps. The sheer enormity of mountains can provide an exhilarating perspective to our tiny existence, leaving us in awe of the vastness of everything. Clouds descended on to us here as if the curtains were falling to a tiring play.
