About
Sumedh Prasad
is what this particular manifestation of Me is called by most people. To keep it short, I am you. And you are me. And we are all really One. Bear in mind, however, that oneness does not mean sameness. It simply means an absence of disjointness.
Dripping Vanilla
is what I have named this small drop in this ocean called the Internet. With the aid of this drop, I wish to invigorate your essence by touching what you essentially are.
I
“do” many things. But I am not concerned primarily with doing. “Doing” is something that is incidental and constantly subject to change.
Some of the things
that I use as different forms of expression are words (both prose & poetry), photography, music, etcetera. But I do not do any of these things for the sake of doing any of these things; and hence I do not label myself as either a photographer or a musician or a writer…
I Do
things that accurately and honestly represent what I am Being: Happy, Joyful, Loving, Abundant, In Tune with my reality; or the opposite of any of these states of being which all of us are liable to be in if we are not in a moment of self clarity.
My Intention in Life (And with Dripping Vanilla)
is to be in the space to heal the space. To try and use my rememberings and my current state of awareness (which I have reached after years of seeking answers) to give people back to themselves, back to the immensely powerful and infinite beings that we all are.
It is not Ego
or a desire to act presumptuous or superior to anyone in my knowledge or understandings that is the cause of my intentions.
No One is ever superior to anyone else; nor does anyone know anything more than any one else. However, we sometimes forget what we know. Like the watch we set ahead ten minutes deliberately, but one day forget that we did so and mess up everything thinking we’re getting late.
My Intention is Only to catalyse and aid you in your self realizations and rememberance; just as I have been aided by extrinsic entities and phenomenon as well. But ultimately, awareness is your personal choice and no one can Make you Aware.
WHY?
Because We Are All One.
This is not the Only way to our salvation.
But IT Sure As Heaven is a Darn Good Way to it!
Love And Peace.
Note: Many of my older posts on this blog, including some of my older poetry and articles, might not be an accurate or true indicator of my present dispositions or understandings. However, I will let them be, for anyone who might be interested in seeing the transformation through them.
you have such a wonderful collection of blogs. Have gone thru them all a bit and they are beautiful especially your photoblog. Got a photoblog too — with humble pictures compared to your wonderful ones.
have a nice day!
thanks for visiting, sunshineforlife, and have a nice sequence of days yourself!
I love the many layers…of your blog name, of your pen name, and how like you, your blog is challenging what is the accepted norm.
Thank You So much, Kelly!
Cool bananas. I was away for a week or so and when I come back I find you have revamped again. It all looks fantastic. When do we get to hear your music? I bet it would all go beautifully together, the words, the photos and your music. Have a fantabulous and miraculous day, my friend.
Thanks a ton, mate! Actually, this revamp is going to be much bigger- just wait and see!
And certainly, I will soon upload some music. (though, be forewarned, I am still just a student! And I don’t have a professional recording studio; so it might be very mediocre!
)
Howdy,
I came here from Ron’s photo blog. I don’t think your images (or the blog) are amateurish. Keep it up.
Stevo
Oh, thanks Steve!
Is not the camera who made a photographer to be good or profesional, but your eyes and dedication.
And you got them!… and a Nikon D40, well, it’s a very cool camera besides!!
Regards from Uruguay.
(Excuse my english, please!)
Thanks a lot for visiting, RoDRiGo; and thanks again for the kind words!
You are doing an outstanding job with your weblog, and your photography is becoming excellent! As I read your blog posts, it occurs to me that you and I have very much in common. I will become a more frequent visitor!
Thank You very much for those kind words, Montucky!
Naturally, classical western music is fantastic. But I am curious why you would choose it over the great classical music tradition of your own country, especially when, living in India, you would have access to all the masters.
Firstly, many thanks for visiting and commenting, Peter.
Your question is one of those which are very hard to answer; in fact the kind that don’t really have a provable or a logical answer.
There isn’t any particular reason; simply perhaps my individual preference and tastes; my individual likings and sorts. So to say, “it’s more me”.
But also, perhaps, because the first time I actually fell madly in love with music was when I was in Switzerland, listening to a violinist in a subway playing a beautiful classical composition!
Hey Sumedh, Good work and hope you will fulfill your wish of learning and mastering music soon and give inspirations to many.
I can clearly say that you are getting grip on your photography for sure. Nice eye for color and nice photos
Many Thanks for the kind words, Uday!
That introduction is priceless!
Sumedh you really got it with the “we are all one” paradigm. Indeed we are and I share your universal thoughts and ideas about “being”. Their simply is no better way to live.
Blessings!
